Floros simfonija

The company „Floros simfonija“ was established in 1993; however the history of its owners was started in 1933. It is already the fourth generation that is involved in the agricultural business, and the same professional traditions have been continued for more than 75 years.

The very beginnings of the company already appeared during the period of the first independence of Lithuania. At that time the independent Lithuania did not have the traditions of floriculture, not to mention the developed environmental plantation design, or as it is now commonly called — landscaping culture.

At the beginning of independence there was no one in Lithuania to grow more interesting species of flowers, tomatoes or melons. After graduating the Agricultural University abroad Zigmas Dautartas was the first to grow them in Lithuania in 1933. Zigmas Dautartas was an uncle of Henrikas Dautartas, the father of the current company owner Halina Tautkuvienė. He took up agriculture as soon as he returned to Lithuania after agricultural studies abroad. As his parents were landlords and owned an estate in Kaunas district, Kubulkiai village, not far from the present Vaškonys village the young specialist had the perfect possibility to demonstrate all his skills and knowledge. The father of the owner of the present company Henrikas Dautartas continued the work his uncle had started even during the whole soviet period. On the 28th of March, 2008 Henrikas Dautartas celebrated his 81 birthday.

Currently all three sons of Halina Tautkuvienė and their family members are working in the company: ”Floros simfonija“.

We create beauty, harmony and good traditions by:

• Carrying out plantation design and care;
• Selling ornamental plants and young saplings as well as different flowers and flower arrangements for different occasions;
• Installing watering systems;
• Building fountains, waterfalls and pools;
• Installing outside and plant illumination;
• Making interior phytodesign;

In a nicely planted café „Floros simfonija“ in Palanga , J. Basanavičiaus st. catering services are provided (café as well as its environment is the creative work of company designers).

The records we have achieved:

The agency „Factum“ has registered 7 records achieved by the florist center „Floros simfonija“

• A huge heart containing 1014 roses was created for the St. Valentine‘s day
• A huge 4 meters high arrangement from flowers and half a tone of fruit has been designed.
• The magnificent bridal dress was made from 1537 rose flowers.
• The highest flower arrangement from green, yellow, white and violet orchids of all species has been constructed on an openwork 260 centimeters high and 190 centimeters wide frame.
• A huge Christmas flower bouquet has been made from 701 rose.
• Floral arrangement „Water surprise“ has been created using 600 roses and more than 20 thousands of petals. The „flower“of two meters and ninety centimeters in diameter has been put to float into the „Floros simfonija“pool with artificial waterfalls.
• Two tones of dolomites, six cubic meters of sand have been used up for the seventh registered record — exterior floristic composition. Five meters and seventy centimeters high composition from the branches of pines, thujas, cypresses and junipers, decorated with ivies, orpines and pansies has been created in a week.

In the year 2006 the company opened new beautifully planted and cozy cafe „Floros simfonijos parkas“ with 440 places in Palanga, J. Basanavičius street. The cafe as well as its environment has been created by the specialists of „Floros simfonija“.
